William Dar

William Dar was the secretary of agriculture during the 2nd half of President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration (2019–2022). He also served as the director of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in India from 2000 to 2014, the only Filipino to have held this position. He currently serves as president of InangLupa Movement Inc., a group advocating for competitive, inclusive and science-based Philippine agriculture.
