Lisa Macuja-Elizalde is the artistic director of Ballet Manila and the director of the Lisa Macuja School of Ballet. While the last two years have brought intense challenges for the company and the school, the prima ballerina remains hopeful about the future. She looks forward to belatedly celebrating Ballet Manila’s 25th anniversary one day with a season of live performances, and to resuming their special productions come Christmastime.
