LEONOR BRIONES

Leonor Magtolis Briones is the former Secretary of Education and a Professor Emeritus at the National College of Public Administration and Governance of the University of the Philippines. She has worked as a teacher for the majority of her life. An academic and educator, public servant and social activist, she has participated in various national, regional and worldwide gatherings and forums as a resource person. In 2005, she spoke in front of the UN General Assembly.
