FELICE PRUDENTE STA. MARIA, The Philippine STAR
Felice Prudente Sta. Maria has been a cultural worker for five decades. She pioneers Philippine food history based on written documents and cultural action as civic action. Among her internationally awarded writings is “The Governor-General’s Kitchen: Philippine Culinary Vignettes and Recipes, 1521-1935.” Her presentation about Philippine cooking during the late Renaissance will be published by Philippine National Historical Society in the new year.
