Weekly horoscope: What's ahead for your zodiac sign in life and love this Oct. 12-18
Your weekly horoscope is here.
Professional astrologer Monica Morales of OM.MNL told PhilSTAR L!fe that the week of Oct. 12-18 will revolve around these questions: Who supports you? Who makes the decisions, and how much say do you have?
"Dynamics within friendships, teams, and wider networks can make it clearer whose influence counts, including your own," she said.
"There is also support for putting yourself forward," she added, as the Sun in Libra sextile Jupiter in Leo on Oct. 15 "favors cooperation, goodwill, and recognition." A conversation, introduction, or collaboration "could help your ideas reach people who appreciate them."
The days after that may support the courage to act with self-control, per Morales. "Speak up, take the lead, or pursue an opportunity, but know when to hold back. Confidence can get you noticed; good judgment helps you handle what follows."
It's important to note that Venus is still in retrograde in Scorpio, so "questions about trust, money, and emotional commitments remain unresolved." She advised, "Welcome the support available to you while paying attention to what is expected in return."

(Note: For a fuller look at what's ahead, it's best to read your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs altogether. Your Sun reflects your core identity and the week’s central themes, your Moon speaks to your emotional world, while your Rising sign can offer clues to where these developments may show up most visibly in everyday life.)
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Your place in a friendship or group may become harder to ignore. Notice whose priorities set the agenda and whether yours get heard. A partner or collaborator can encourage your creative confidence. Back yourself, but resist turning every challenge into a contest.
In love, make your interest clear without pressing for more intimacy or certainty than either person is ready to offer.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Who gets the final say at work—and how much authority do you have? Career power dynamics deserve attention this week. Cooperation around schedules and responsibilities can also ease pressure at home. Take the initiative on a home or family matter, but pace yourself and respect your need for rest.
Reliability matters in your relationships. How someone handles ordinary responsibilities may tell you more than a dramatic declaration.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
You may feel more strongly about a belief, qualification, or direction you want to pursue. Check the facts before trying to persuade others. A creative idea can receive an encouraging response, while a carefully prepared proposal gives friends or collaborators something concrete to support.
Got a crush on someone? Show your interest. A warm conversation, shared joke, or thoughtful message can give you the confidence to take things further.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Shared money can reveal an unequal balance of power. Look closely at who contributes, who decides, and what financial support obliges you to do. Home or family support may strengthen your position. At work, make a measured case for your value rather than accepting more responsibility automatically.
Generosity should feel freely given in your relationships. Notice when affection, spending, or favors come with an expectation attached.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
A partner or client may make their expectations—and influence—more apparent. Be clear about what you will agree to. Conversations can bring encouragement or recognition, and you have support for asserting yourself with purpose. Defend your position without treating disagreement as an insult.
Be direct about your needs from your partner while leaving room for them to have a different view.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
You may see more clearly how much work demands shape your day—and where you need more say over your routine. Clarify your responsibilities before accepting another demand. Private support or preparation can strengthen your financial confidence. Use the week to address an obligation deliberately, with a realistic limit on the time, money, or energy you commit.
If you need to have a difficult conversation with your partner, do it calmly. Leave room for an honest answer, even if it is uncomfortable.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
An attraction or creative ambition may become more consuming. Notice how much attention it takes and whether you still feel in control of your choices. Friends and networks can respond warmly to your ideas. A clear agreement with a collaborator helps turn encouragement into sustained effort.
In the romance department, pursue the connection with confidence, but respect its pace. Keep spending within what you can comfortably afford.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
Who makes the decisions at home? A family expectation or living arrangement may bring that question into focus. Professional encouragement can arrive privately, while steady, well-managed effort supports your ambitions. Take charge of what you can deliver without accepting every demand placed on you.
Be honest about what you want now in your love life. Give yourself time to understand changing desires before making a commitment.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Your words may carry more weight this week, especially in an agreement or important conversation. Be precise about what you are committing to. Friends can support an educational, travel, or publishing ambition. Give a creative goal enough structure to make real progress.
Shared interests can build a romantic attraction. Be honest about any private attachment that affects how available you are.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
Income and self-worth come into sharper focus. Notice where financial dependence affects your freedom to choose. Professional recognition may help you secure backing or resources. Before accepting support, make sure the terms fit your budget, household responsibilities, and longer commitments.
Discuss shared costs in your relationship directly. Neither person should have to guess what the other can afford or expects.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
You may become more conscious of how others respond to your presence and decisions. Assert yourself without trying to control their reactions. A partner, client, or adviser can encourage a bigger ambition. In negotiations, hold your position calmly and be specific about the terms.
Confidence helps you speak honestly in your relationship. Listen carefully enough to understand what the other person is actually offering.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
Notice whether a hidden fear or tendency to withdraw is making decisions for you. You do not have to disclose everything to begin addressing it. Practical assistance can ease work pressures. Pace your effort and set a financial limit before taking on more.
Talk about the future both you and your partner want, then consider whether your everyday support for each other helps you build it.
