Good news, K-drama fans: The second season of the hit Korean superhero TV series Moving is now in production.

Disney+ Korea confirmed the news in a behind-the-scenes video released on its YouTube channel.

The original cast, which includes Ryu Seung-ryong, Han Hyo-joo, Zo In-sung, and Go Youn-jung, will return in the upcoming installment, along with newcomers Sul Kyung Gu, Lee Hee Joon, and Ryu Hye Young. Rookie actor Won Gyu Bin will replace actor Lee Jung Ha, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, for the role of Kim Bong-Seok.

Moving Season 2 will begin immediately after the Jeongwon High School incident at the end of the first season, as the heroes settle back into normal life after a fight between North and South Korean agents, with new threats emerging.

The next season will be written by the webtoon creator and screenwriter, Kangfull, with Kingdom filmmaker Kim Seong-hun serving as its director.

“With the first season of Moving, my goal was to establish a new benchmark for Korean superhero narratives. For the second, I intend to raise that bar even higher, evolving the series into something truly exceptional," Kangfull said in a statement.

Other details, including its release date, have yet to be announced.

Moving became the most-watched Korean original series on Hulu and Disney+ when it was released in 2023. The series follows a group of special agents determined to shield their super-powered children from danger and exploitation by sinister government forces.
