'She's gonna be my wife': Matteo Guidicelli shares how he manifested love story with Sarah Geronimo

Matteo Guidicelli revealed that he manifested Sarah Geronimo to be his wife.

On the Kuan on One podcast hosted by Melai Cantiveros, the actor recalled meeting the pop star through Billy Crawford.

"Bro. This girl, I really want to meet her," Matteo told a puzzled Billy.  

"Bro, ano ka ba?" Billy replied, as told in Bisaya by Matteo.

"I don't know. She's gonna be my wife," he replied. 

Matteo added that through Billy's help, he was able to meet Sarah backstage at a concert at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and was all pleasantries. 

Matteo earlier said that he was only 15 or 16 years old at that time and was already an actor then. 

But he and Sarah's paths had to part as he took a break from acting to finish college in the US. He had also given up hope.

When he returned to the Philippines, however, he went on to manifest Sarah as his future partner, even doing so in front of fellow actress Nikki Gil.

"Nikki Gil knew this. I told Nikki, sabi ko, 'Nikks, she's gonna be my wife,'" Matteo narrated.

To which, Melai replied, "Bukambibig niya talaga 'yan. Kapag mina-manifest mo talaga, nagkaka-totoo."

"Yeah, it was a strong manifestation," Matteo said.

Later on, Matteo's manager Jojie Dingcong secured him a guesting at Sarah's shows in America, which ran for three weeks.

"Sige, punta kami sa America!" an excited Matteo said.

Despite the encounter, Matteo lost contact with Sarah again, but he didn't stop pursuing the pop princess until he finally succeeded.

Matteo and Sarah have been in a relationship since 2013. They officially tied the knot in 2020.

The actor proposed to the pop star twice, as revealed by Sarah in a vlog: one in Italy and another in his hometown Cebu. Matteo offered her his grandmother's ring and a second one crafted by his jeweler brother-in-law.

In a Fast Talk with Boy Abunda interview in 2023, Matteo called her marriage to Sarah a covenant and not just a contract.

In an Instagram post for their 2nd anniversary, Matteo assured her, "Through thick and thin and all the ups and downs, we will be partners for life."
