Alanis Morissette has revealed that she's pansexual.

The You Oughta Know singer opened up about her sexuality in an episode of the Handsome podcast. Host Fortune Feimster jokingly asked Alanis whether her experience dating men has led to her dating women.

"I'm sorry for the men that hurt you, but I'm not sorry for the songs that came from it. Those are pretty amazing," the comedian quipped. "Did it make you want to be a lesbian at any point?"

"I'm pansexual, so yeah," the Jagged Little Pill musician said. "I get everything."

Co-host Tig Notaro added that Alanis should have begun the podcast with the revelation. "How did I not know this? Did you know this?" she told Feimster. She then turned to the "Queen of alt-rock angst": "You're supposed to come into the Handsome podcast leading with, 'I'm pansexual.'"

"You know, I like to leave it for the epilogue," Alanis, 52, joked. "I like to confuse people on the way out. Is it confusing?"

Alanis previously opened up about exploring her sexuality in an interview with Advocate in 2008, where she was asked about the "lesbian experimentation" she discussed on Howard Stern's radio show.

"I think it's a beautiful rite of passage for everyone to play with their sexuality at some point, so I did exactly that. And it was great!" the singer said.

The Ironic songstress's dating life has been in the public eye since she broke into the music scene in the 90s. She was briefly with Full House alum Dave Coulier from 1992 to 1994 and sparked romance with Ryan Reynolds in 2002. After two years of dating, she and the Deadpool actor got engaged in 2004 and later called it off in 2007.

In 2009, she met rapper Mario John "Souleye" Treadway, whom she married a year later. They share three children: son Ever, daughter Onyx, and son Winter.
