Kim Ga Eun, Yoon Sun Woo expecting first child

K-drama stars Kim Ga Eun and Yoon Sun Woo are expecting their first baby a year after tying the knot.

The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Oct. 25 featuring baby items, a positive pregnancy test, and photos of their pets alongside tiny baby shoes.

“One more member of the family, so it's a family of six,” they wrote in Korean. "We were visited by a little angel!!"

"Can't imagine how much happier and fun it will be haha. Our family of six, let's do good in the future," they added.

The couple also shared the moment they learned they were expecting in a YouTube video titled “Coming out as pregnant on my husband’s birthday.” After Kim took a pregnancy test that showed two lines, she initially wondered if the result was real and decided to take another test the following day. The second test also came back positive, coinciding with Yoon’s birthday.

While Yoon was using his computer, Kim quickly prepared a surprise pregnancy reveal in their room. He was momentarily speechless before exclaiming, “Honey, really? You're crazy!” and pulling his wife into a tight embrace.

Kim and Yoon got married on Oct. 26, 2025, after dating for around 10 years. They first met while working together on the 2015 Korean drama Abiding Love Dandelion and later appeared in the series Reunited Worlds. 

Kim is known for her roles in Korean dramas such as Because This Is My First Life, Itaewon Class, and Under the Queen’s Umbrella. Yoon, meanwhile, has appeared in series including My Only One and Senior, Don’t Put on That Lipstick.
