Song Joong Ki welcomes second child with Katy Louise Saunders

Song Joong Ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders have welcomed their second child.

The Korean actor took to his fancafe to announce that they have welcomed their daughter, according to a report by K-media outlet Soompi on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

“I’m currently in Rome and it’s been just over a year since I met my first child here. I’m incredibly grateful to announce that we’ve been blessed with another beautiful baby. Our lovely princess was born healthy, and both my wife and our baby are doing well and resting,” the Vincenzo star wrote. 

This came a few months after his agency, HighZium Studio, confirmed reports that they were expecting a second child. 

Joong Ki first announced his marriage to the British actress in January 2023, only a month after confirming their relationship in December 2022. They welcomed their son in June 2023.  

He is known for his roles in TV series and films including Descendants of the Sun, Vincenzo, Space Sweepers, and Reborn Rich, among others.  

Katy, meanwhile, was part of films such as Welcome Home, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, A Scandalous Journey, and Los Borgia.
