BTS has released more details about their upcoming album and world tour.

Their agency, BigHit Music, on Sunday evening revealed that the septet's fifth full-length album will have 14 tracks that express the group's "emotions and struggles" throughout their journey.

"The new album holds special significance as it marks the first album released by the group in three years and nine months, while also indicating the direction the group will take going forward. The members were deeply involved in the creation of the songs, infusing their own thoughts and colors into them while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey," the agency said.

BigHit added that the album features "honest stories" the group is eager to share with their fans.

"Filled with the music that’s most true to BTS, the album is their heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time," it said.

The album drops on March 20 at 12 p.m. (Philippine time). Fans can secure their copies early when pre-orders open this Friday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m.

BTS will also give more details about the world tour on Jan. 14 at 12 a.m. It will be posted on their new website.

"We ask for your continued love and support for BTS as they embark on a fresh start through these new promotional activities," the note ended, thanking the ARMY "who have waited patiently for so long."

Last Jan. 1, Big Hit Music officially confirmed that BTS will return as a full group on March 20, releasing their first complete album in nearly four years.

BTS has been on a self-described "hiatus" since 2022 as its members undertook the mandatory military service.

Suga was the final member to complete his duties in June 2025.
