Crosta, a mano remain on 50 Top Pizzas list for Asia Pacific in 2026
Two beloved Filipino pizzerias are once again earning global recognition!
Crosta Pizzeria and a mano have secured their spot in the prestigious 50 Top Pizza rankings in the Asia Pacific group for 2026, reaffirming their place among the best pizzerias in the region.
Crosta Pizzeria, with branches in Makati, San Juan, and Alabang, kept its fifth-place ranking from last year.
It's known for its sourdough-style round pizzas and its Detroit and Sicilian styles, featuring a puffy and crunchy crumb. Crosta also offers vegan options.
50 Top Pizza noted that the pizza place "continuously churns out excellent pizzas and many clever thoughts."
"Among the pizzas to try, we recommend keeping an eye on the seasonal offerings. Also keep an eye on the ever-changing wine by the glass selection, thanks to the passion and expertise of Thomas Wudwyk, you can find some real gems at very reasonable prices. Courteous and knowledgeable staff," they said.
Meanwhile, a mano moved from its previous spot at seventh to ninth place.
They offer classic and contemporary Italian cuisine and have stores in Bonifacio Global City, Rockwell, and Gateway Mall 2. a mano cooks its pizzas in a Valoriani, an Italian commercial gas-fired oven certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana.
50 Top Pizza stated that their branches are "very well-kept, welcoming, with many references to Italy and its culture."
"The pizza style is contemporary, with a pronounced crust, but don't worry because it is well-leavened, light, and easily digestible," the award-giving body recommended.
They highlighted Crosta's Diavola pizza as an "excellent choice."
"When it comes to pasta, the quality is top-notch. Don't miss out on trying a slice of their excellent panettone. The drink menu allows for a fun time, even with non-alcoholic options, at very reasonable prices," the organization added.
RistoPizza in Tokyo, Japan emerged as the best pizza spot in the Asia Pacific, followed by The Pizza Bar on 38th in Japan, Fiata in Hong Kong, gigi’s in Australia, and Spacca Napoli in South Korea.
The top 15 positions in the 50 Top Pizza Asia Pacific 2026 ranking automatically enter the 100 Best Pizzerias in the World, which will meet in Naples on Sept. 15.
The organization ranks entries 100 to 1, with the ranking "extrapolated from individual rankings that are divided into geographical areas." It considers not only the restaurant's pizza offerings but also its service, environment, waiting time, wine, beer, and other beverages.
