Asia Rose Simpson lands Top 3 in Miss World Talent competition with original dance
Asia Rose Simpson has made it to the Top 3 of the Miss World Talent competition after presenting an original dance piece on the international pageant stage.
The Philippines’ representative performed Succor, a contemporary dance piece that tells the story of “feeling lost and finding her way through faith,” according to Simpson. She said the performance aims to shed light on “the hope and healing we can have battling mental health.”
Simpson placed third in the competition, behind Miss World England Grace Richardson, who won for her performance of Over the Rainbow, and Miss World Guadeloupe Annaelle Ibo, who placed second with her rendition of La Vie en Rose.
Simpson later shared the news on Instagram, announcing that her dance had placed in the Top 3 of the Miss World Talent Fast Track.
“This is one of my favorite fast tracks so to place in Top 3 is such a dream come true,” Simpson said in a post-competition interview.
“I hope you were touched by the message,” she added.
Dance has been part of Simpson’s life since childhood. She began learning the craft at 3 years old under her father’s guidance, alongside her siblings.
The siblings later performed together as the Simpson Tribe, with the family auditioning for Pilipinas Got Talent Season 5 in 2016. Their performance earned four yes votes from the show’s judges, allowing them to advance in the competition.
The latest achievement adds to Simpson’s strong showing at Miss World 2026. She previously won the Asia and Oceania region of the Head-to-Head Challenge, securing a spot in the pageant’s Top 40.
The 18-year-old beauty queen is representing the Philippines in hopes of securing the country’s second Miss World crown, following Megan Young’s historic win in 2013.
The Miss World 2026 coronation night is scheduled for September 5 in Vietnam, where reigning queen Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand will crown her successor.
