R.O.X. Philippines to close BGC branch after almost 20 years
Outdoor recreational store R.O.X. is closing its iconic BGC branch this June.
"Since 2007, we've made it our mission to provide premium outdoor gear for you-our community of adventurers-and to celebrate in our shared passion for exploring the great outdoors. We want to express our deepest gratitude tor the support and trust that you've given us," they said in a statement shared on social media. "Your love has made this adventure an even more unforgettable experience."
R.O.X., the Philippines' largest outdoor and adventure superstore, said that the last day for their Bonifacio High Street branch will be on June 16.
"Our goal was to nurture love for the outdoors, to immerse everyone in the spirit of adventure. Since then, our community has grown and become a thriving space for people from all walks of life to come together," they continued, thanking their customers.
"We are forever grateful to our loyal community for joining us on this journey. Thank you for the 20 years of adventure, R.O.X.plorers. See you outside!"
R.O.X.. or Recreational Outdoor eXchange, is the biggest "outdoor superstore" in Southeast Asia. They carry outdoor and adventure gears from brands like The North Face, Salomon, Columbia Sportswear, Sea To Summit, Nalgene, Fox Racing, Hydro Flask, Osprey, Billabong, Quicksilver, DC, Eagle Creek, Black Diamond, Mountain Hardwear, and more.
The BGC branch, specifically, features a Power Up Climbing Gym, complete with a multi-level climbing wall.
R.O.X. has branches in Ayala Abreeza, Ayala Center Cebu, Ayala Malls Legazpi, Ayala Centrio, One Ayala Makati, SM Bicutan, Alabang Town Center, Nustar, and SM Megamall.
