Marvel fans had their hands full with all the major news Marvel Television and Marvel Animation spilled at the New York Comic Con 2026.

On Thursday, Oct. 8 (US time), attendees were treated to a first look at some of the TV series coming within the next three years to Disney+. Making the highly anticipated announcements were Marvel head of Television, Animation, Comics & Franchise Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Stephen Wacker, as well as some special guests.

Which of the following are you most excited about?

VisionQuest

The highlight of the Marvel event featured a few special guests who gave fans a surprise exclusive screening of the first episode of VisionQuest. The upcoming third season concludes the story of the Avenger that began with WandaVision and Agatha All Along.

Stars Paul Bettany (Vision), James Spader (Ultron), Ruaridh Mollica (Tommy Maximoff/Thomas Shepherd), and Emily Hampshire (E.D.I.T.H.) joined showrunner Terry Matalas to talk about Vision's continuing journey.

Bettany shared how the concept for the new series began, saying, "I've been hanging out with Terry, trying to figure out how we can tell a superhero story about fathers and sons but one with a robot and a human son. Terry suggested we get the band back together and call Spader up, and that's when I knew we had a show."

The new series debuts on Oct. 14. Take a look at the trailer:

Zodiac

Winderbaum revealed the official title and logo for the brand-new Marvel Television series Zodiac. He confirmed that the "spy thriller" will begin filming in the spring, between March and June, and that it would debut in 2028. That was the only information the Marvel boss was willing to share, however.

Marvel Zombies

In just a few weeks, the visually compelling Marvel Zombies drops the first of three new two-part event series. Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier arrives around Halloween 2027, followed up by new chapter Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu in 2028, and concluded in 2029 with Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian.

"I won't tell you who the Last Guardian is, but it's very, very exciting," Winderbaum said.

The amount of digital blood will be worth the anticipation, he promised.

"We're about halfway through animatics, and it is a blood-splattering good time, but it's also quite beautiful," he said. "I still can't believe Disney+ lets us get away with it."

X-Men '97

"We're hard at work on the third season, and it's incredible," Winderbaum said about X-Men '97 season 3.

Fans got to have an exclusive first look at some footage from the upcoming season, which teased the return of the Brotherhood of Mutants and a wedding between two mutant favorites.

Season 3 premieres in 2027. A fourth is already in the planning stage.

"I'm actually getting choked up thinking about one of the episodes right now," Winderbaum teased.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Dropping on Jan. 13, 2027, animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2 brings back Peter Parker, voiced by Hudson Thames, with new and familiar challenges.

Creator Jeff Trammell gave a quick summary of Peter's journey so far, and what he's up against in the upcoming season.

"In Season 1, we got to see Peter start out as Spider-Man. He's learning, he's growing, he's got a man in a chair, he's got a mentor," Trammell said.

"None of that for season 2. In season 2, he's ready to go, and he's got big threats. He might need a little help. And, you know, sometimes that help comes int he form of inky black good from space," he added.

Daredevil: Born Again

Three of the original Defenders—Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), and Finn Jones (Danny Rand)—helped give Marvel fans an exclusive first look at new footage from Daredevil: Born Again's third and final season, which debuts in 2027.

Though Mike Colter wasn't able to make it due to a last-minute scheduling conflict, his co-stars assured fans he was slated to return as Luke Cage in the upcoming season.

"The first time we were all back together again, it was like 2016 all over again," Cox told the audience. "We wish Mike could be here."
