Ned’s Declassified star Daniel Curtis Lee alleged that a recent attempt to help his homeless former co-star, Tylor Chase, ended in disaster. After Lee paid to house the homeless actor in a California motel, the staff contacted him to report that the room had been destroyed.

"They were upset. The door's left open. Why is there a microwave in the tub? The refrigerator's turned over," Lee shared on TikTok. "I feel so devastated. I am at a loss."

Lee noted that Chase’s family had previously warned him that their own attempts to house the former child actor had failed.

He added that he is "crushed" by the lack of effective systems available to help those struggling with mental health and drug abuse.

"There's no reason that his family should not be able to get him help. I'm really feeling devastated here," he continued, thanking those who are supporting his co-star.

In mid-December, a video of Chase went viral on social media. In it, he was seen wearing a worn-out shirt and jeans and living on the streets of Riverside, California.

Following this, Lee told his followers that he reunited with Chase after he saw the heartbreaking video of him.

He later revealed that he had treated Chase to a meal at a pizza restaurant before taking him to a motel to stay in while the podcast creator coordinates with others toward a plan for long-term assistance.

He said that he wanted Chase to stay in a hotel as he wanted him to "have at least some basic accommodations" during the holiday season.

Chase is known for appearing in Everybody Hates Chris, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and Good Time Max.
