Karen Sofia Quiroz Ramirez, a motorcycle influencer who became known as the “Biker Girl,” died in a road accident. She was 25.

Local authorities confirmed the death of the Colombian personality in a highway accident in Floridablanca, Colombia. Ramirez collided with a truck after attempting to maneuver between it and another vehicle.

Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Per a US Weekly report, transport official Jahir Andres said that Ramirez’s lane splitting may have caused the accident. “The most likely hypothesis for the accident is that the motorcyclist was traveling between two vehicles,” he's quoted as saying.

According to authorities, the situation will be subject to an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

“The Prosecutor’s Office will proceed to clearly and precisely determine the cause of this fatal traffic accident. We will carry out the corresponding investigations, conduct the respective interviews with witnesses, and analyze the CCTV footage,” Andres said.

Hours before the accident, the social media star shared an Instagram story with the caption: "I'm hoping I don’t crash, because I’m riding without my glasses."

Ramirez accumulated 40,000 followers on TikTok and 35,000 on Instagram through her motorcycle content.
