LOOK: Matteo Guidicelli earns another Harvard Business School certificate
Matteo Guidicelli has finished his Leadership Development program at the Harvard Business School.
The actor and restaurant owner shared the good news on Instagram, posting some pictures from his journey.
"Mission accomplished but the mission ALWAYS continues," he wrote.
Guidicelli continued: "Six months of case studies, sleepless nights, and focus. When Professor Margolis asked what’s one thing we would like to leave behind to our PLD (program for leadership development) cohorts, this is what I wrote:
'Let us hold the ground with our morals and values for family and country. Let’s continue to win the hearts and minds of the people around us. Continue to scaffold up and stretch to create a difference and value to the world.'"
The businessman-actor thanked his wife, Sarah Geronimo, his family for all their support, saying, "This one’s because of you."
Last year, Guidicelli—who has a bachelor's degree in BSBA-Marketing Management from the University of San Jose-Recoletos—finished an HBS marketing course on Creating Brand Value, where he learned about personal branding, celebrity branding, as well as how companies build and sustain brand value in competitive markets.
In 2024, he completed a course called "Changing the Game: Negotiation and Competitive Decision-Making,” which focuses on the science and strategy of negotiation in business.
According to him, the courses he took at Harvard Business School are part of its Executive Education program, which offers “short but extremely intensive courses” that ran for about a week. Each session from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily was complete with discussions, lectures, and collaborative activities.
He told PhilSTAR L!fe that these courses are about much more than resume-building.
"It’s not just about earning a certificate, it’s about expanding your worldview, understanding different leadership styles, and improving how you operate personally and professionally," he mused.
