Camille Prats recalled waking up to being the subject of the "Paboritong Mars" meme—and what she told Kim Atienza right after.

The actress went viral in November after her appearance on GMA variety show TikToClock, where it was announced that Atienza would be taking a temporary leave of absence after the death of his youngest daughter Emman. The hosts solemnly delivered messages of support for Atienza before introducing Prats.

"Ang bilin po ni Kuya Kim ay ituloy ang pagbibigay ng saya dito sa TikToClock. Kaya ngayon pong umaga, isang malapit na kaibigan ang sasalo sa kanya," they said. "Yes. Mga Tiktropa, mag-ingay para sa ating paboritong mars, Camille Prats!" Prats then emerged from behind dancers, accompanied by lively music.

In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that aired on Dec. 24, the actress said she wasn't able to review the script beforehand.

"I didn't know that kung ano 'yung pinanggalingan ng programa, that was actually the first live show they had after what happened to Kuya Kim, so I wasn't aware of that," she said. "Ang alam ko lang is I'm guesting, I'm gonna dance, so I was busy memorizing my steps, didn't bother to check the script, where the show was coming from, and then that afternoon, nagulat na lang ako na I was all over social media."

She said she understood why it trended on social media as she revealed that the first thing she did was say sorry to Atienza.

"'Kuya, forgive me, I didn't know,'" she recalled tellign Atienza. "Kasi hindi ko alam kung ano 'yung na-feel niya eh."

According to Prats, Atienza just brushed it off.

"'You know, Cams, that's not your —,'" she said, quoting Atienza. "'Yeah, I know, but I should've known,'" she replied.

Prats noted that she and Atienza are on good terms. "What's important is he's fine, he's okay, he's happy, we're okay, and I'm glad I'm able to make a lot of people happy, too."

In November, Atienza said on the same show that seeing Prats' meme gave him a much-needed break while he was mourning the loss of his daughter.

"Natawa ako. Natanggal ‘yung lungkot ko. Very effective si Camille Prats sa akin. Talagang 'pag nakikita ko, hanggang ngayon natatawa pa rin ako," he said. "Siya na ang Pambansang Dopamine. The Dopamine of Asia."

Emman, the daughter of Felicia and Kim Atienza, passed away in her California home in October. She was 19.
