Emma Roberts weds Cody John in a gown by Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier
It’s official: Emma Roberts and Cody John are married!
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Sun Valley, Idaho, Us Weekly reported.
Surrounded by a small group of close friends and family—including the bride’s aunt, Julia Roberts—the pair exchanged vows in a quick 45-minute service.
Roberts wore a stunning white chiffon wedding gown featuring a high slit by Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier, paired with a matching headband, while John looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo.
According to Lhuillier, designing her gown "was about capturing a feeling of timeless romance through a modern lens."
"Every detail, from the custom Vintage Rose hue to the hand-draped silk chiffon, delicate lacework and sculpted corsetry, was created to reflect her effortless spirit while celebrating the artistry of couture," she wrote on Instagram.
In a heartwarming moment, Roberts walked down the aisle holding hands with her 3-year-old son, Rhodes, whom she shares with ex-partner Garrett Hedlund.
Roberts and John's relationship was made public in 2022 when John posted a snap of them sharing a kiss on Instagram. Roberts also posted a picture of them holding hands on New Year's Eve with the caption, "#2022 I loved you."
John appeared in TV offerings like Wu-Tang: An American Saga, which streamed on Hulu, and In The Dark, which aired on The CW, among others.
In July 2024, the couple announced their engagement with a photo shared on social media. "Putting this here before my mom tells everyone," Roberts captioned the photo, where she can be seen showing off her ring.
