'Heated Rivalry' star Hudson Williams confronts autograph hounds who followed him home
Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams confronted a group of autograph hunters who followed him to his residence in Paris.
A now-viral video of the interaction showed people approaching the actor and his girlfriend, Katelyn Larson, with photos as he exited a car on July 11.
"Can you sign, please, Hudson?" one of the men was heard asking.
Hudson abruptly declined, saying, "Guys, you followed me to my residence." Variety later learned that this was a temporary residence while the actor was in France for Paris Fashion Week.
The men apologized while continuing to film Williams. "No 'sorry.' You can't do this. This is really f*****g weird," the 25-year-old actor said before he grabbed the pen for signing autographs and threw it away.
"You guys aren't fans. You're being really creepy, and you just followed me, okay? You don't do this."
Williams was then seen grabbing one of the photos and attempting to burn it with a lighter.
"I'm gonna burn this at home. Now please f*****g leave. You're being f*****g demented. No, sorry, leave. I want to watch you. Hop on your little bike," he continued to tell them.
As Williams walked away, the autograph hounds continued to follow him. Larson handed a stack of photos back to the men and asked them to "go away."
Williams previously called out inappropriate fan behavior in a joint statement with Heated Rivalry co-star François Arnaud in March.
"Don't call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynist/ageist/ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind. None of us need your hateful 'love,'" they said.
"We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side. If you can't accept that [get the f**k out of here]."
Williams rose to fame for starring as Shane Hollander in the hit queer romantic drama Heated Rivalry alongside Connor Storrie, who plays Ilya Rozanov. The show followed the rival hockey players as they maintained a secret long-term relationship.
A second season is currently in the works.
