Simu Liu ties the knot with partner Allison Hsu: report

Simu Liu has found the one ring to rule them all.

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star married the love of his life, Allison Hsu, over the weekend. They reportedly had their wedding in France.

This comes a year after they announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing several photos together of their trip in Paris, where Liu popped the question in front of a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower. 

The two made their relationship official in 2022 with a sweet post on Instagram.

Speaking about his relationship in 2023, he told PEOPLE that they have been "tremendously happy."

"I feel challenged and loved and cared for, and I feel championed. I think the best, healthiest relationships are ones where you have each other’s back, and I definitely feel like that’s the case," Liu said.

Liu rose to prominence by starring in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as the titular character. He went on to star in the Barbie live-action film and is expected to appear in the upcoming films Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
