Angel Locsin makes surprise cameo on 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0'
Angel Locsin made an unexpected cameo on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
On the Dec. 21 episode of the reality show, the housemates were busy on the last day of their charity caroling task as they performed song requests from outsiders, which included their family members and supporters.
Locsin, who has been out of the public eye for years now, can be heard voicing her request for Christmas songs, although she cannot be seen onscreen.
During the performance proper, Star Magic housemate Joaquin Arce was thrilled to see his stepmom Locsin's name appear on the TV screen along with his parents' names, Neil and Sunshine, and his grandma's.
Watching from a secret room, Locsin can be heard amusingly reacting to the performance, even mentioning housemates Ashley Sarmiento, who played a younger version of her character Rhian Bonifacio in the teleserye The General's Daughter, and Miguel Vergara, who played her son in the movie One More Try. Neil and Sunshine can also be heard reacting with Locsin, and even laughed when Joaquin held Locsin's portrait during the song number.
Joaquin appeared happy and satisfied as he tried to hold back his tears during the performance. He also said that knowing his family is watching him is enough.
Locsin made her last big screen appearance as Alex Salazar in 2020's Four Sisters Before the Wedding. She has been living a private life with her husband, Neil Arce, since 2021.
