FitFlop is officially closing in the Philippines

FitFlop Philippines announced it will close down all their stores—both physical and online—in the country.

"We're so grateful to everyone who has been part of the FitFlop journey throughout the years. It's been a pleasure serving you," the brand wrote on their Facebook page.

Starting today, July 1, all FitFlop stores online and in-store will officially close.

"We are eternally grateful for all the love and support we've received from you, our loyal fans, since day 1, and hope that our products have brought you joy and comfort in return," they added in a statement.

FitFlop was founded in 2007 and was brought in the Philippines by Primer Group of Companies. The iconic footwear brand is known for its lightweight, ergonomic midsoles, which allowed their customers "to live an active and fulfilled life."

"We bring it (comfort) to every style, designing shoes to create the most even distribution of body weight possible," FitFlop wrote on its website. "Each of our midsoles achieves this in a different way to complement the silhouette. We wouldn’t use the same technology with a sneaker and a ballerina, for example. But both will keep your feet feeling as happy at the end of the day as they do at the beginning."

FitFlop was available in ResToeRun, The Travel Club, Grind, and on eCommerce sites Lazada and Shopee.
