A French stuntman known for climbing towers and buildings—and posting thrilling photos of them on Instagram—died after falling from the 68th floor of a skyscraper in Hong Kong. He was 30.

Remi Lucidi, also known as Remi Enigma, lost his footing outside a penthouse apartment last Thursday, July 27, at the 721-foot Tregunter Tower, according to PEOPLE, Sky News, and The Independent, citing the South China Morning Post.

According to reports, Lucidi told the security guard he was visiting a friend on the 40th floor, and that's when he made his way to the top floor.

Surveillance camera showed him exiting the elevator on the 49th floor and again on the staircase to the top floor, where a door had been forced open.

Lucidi, however, got trapped outside the building. He reportedly spotted a maid inside, during which he knocked on the window while the maid called the police.

But alas, he lost his footing and fell to his death. His body and camera were found on a nearby patio.

The daredevil Lucidi, who garnered 19,000 followers on Instagram, traveled the world and documented his extreme stunts.

His recent posts showed him on rooftops and spires in Bulgaria, Bangkok, Dubai, and Portugal.
