MRT-3 puts up its own contact tracing app
The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) is set to launch its own contact tracing application.
In an announcement on social media, MRT-3 said the app dubbed “MRT-3 Trace” will have a “soft launching” on Monday, Jan. 18.
Prior to the soft launch, MRT-3 said commuters could already sign-up through the website to create an account for the app.
Once registered, commuters could then use the app on the day of their commute, scan the QR code on the station they will board, and present the confirmation upon entry to the station.
The full implementation of the app is scheduled on February.
