Tibuk-Tibuk, pastillas, and shing-a-ling with chocolate? In a bar? Trust the adventurous Kapampangans to come up with culinary surprises.

As the Rockwell community at Nepo Center begins to make its mark in the region, the brand introduces Pampanga Series Confections. Esteemed Pampanga-based chefs Dennis Lim of the famed Denlim’s Kitchen and Judy Uson of the go-to homegrown restaurant Cafe Noelle have collaborated with Christian Valdes of CMV Txokolat to bring Rockwellists a taste of the culinary capital’s distinct flavors.

Lim and Uson combined the flavors of food items that are popular in Pampanga with CMV’s luscious chocolate, resulting in a harmonious blend that is both comforting and delightful. Every chocolate bar is a curious, sensational, and exquisite concoction.

There’s the accessible snack shing-a-ling and the ubiquitous kasoy melded with chocolate. It’s all at once tangy, crunchy, rich, and nutty. This unique combination provides a textural contrast that will keep you coming back for more, like a bag of chips.

The Shing-a-ling and Kasoy Bar: Sink your teeth into the crunch of shing-a-ling bits, dashed with cayenne pepper and topped with sweet nutty hints of crushed kasoy nuts. A homage to Denlim’s kitchen’s specialty Shing-a-ling and Cashew Salad!

Next on the list is the Pastillas de Calamansi, a refreshing rendition of the classic pastillas. The zesty notes of calamansi are skillfully balanced with the creamy sweetness of pastillas, creating a treat that captures the essence of tropical indulgence.

For those who crave a nostalgic taste of childhood, the Champorado Bar is a must-try. Dennis Lim takes the familiar champorado and transforms it into a chocolate bar. With its rich chocolate flavor and subtle hints of rice, this creation is a thrilling homage to a breakfast staple.

The Champorado Bar: a staple Filipino comfort food that is glutinous rice stewed with tablea (ground cocoa bean paste) and served with fried fish. The perfect balance of sweet, salty, and heartwarming in one dark chocolate shell.

To round out this extraordinary collection, Judy Uson’s Tibuk-Tibuk takes center stage once again. Its velvety texture and exquisite taste perfectly complement the bold flavors that define The Rockwellist Confections’ Pampanga Series.

Soon, the L.A. Cheesebread bar will be making its way to your taste buds. Inspired by the popular baked goodie in Pampanga, it fuses the buttery goodness of cheese bread with the indulgent sweetness of a chocolate bar. It promises a craving like no other.

The L.A. Cheesebread Bar: Reminiscent of the famous cheese bread from L.A. Bakeshop in Pampanga, the bar exudes the familiar taste of Pampanga’s original cheese bread with its caramelized cheddar cheese paired with rich velvety white chocolate.

Each confection in this collection tells a story, celebrating the rich flavors and traditions of the Philippines, while pushing the boundaries of taste and texture. These innovative flavors likewise offer Rockwellists an opportunity to savor a taste of the Kapampangans’ diverse palate as the brand grows its presence there.

Through Rockwell at Nepo Center, the real estate developer has partnered with the Nepomuceno family to create a mixed-use community that will be replete with residential and retail offerings, including the first Power Plant Mall outside of Makati.
