Much has been said about motherhood being the greatest thing in the world. While true, the role does come with its own set of challenges, which are oftentimes swept under the rug.

Absolute Distilled Drinking Water launches Season 2 of the “Pure Moms, Pure Love” video podcast as a safe space for Absolute moms to comfortably share their experiences, learn from one another, and enjoy a strong and solid support system that truly understands them.

The new season tackles topics not openly discussed but are very much relatable to every mother. Above all, it advocates self-love among moms, reminding them that when they care for themselves, they are also able to give the best form of love for their families.

Season 2 of the “Pure Moms, Pure Love” video podcast presents four episodes about the joyful and painful discoveries of motherhood. The first episode deep dives into the mental health of moms, particularly on dealing with post-partum depression, the pressure of being everything to everyone, and more.

The second episode offers valuable tips from moms’ trusted experts, the OB-GYN and pediatrician. Guest experts share actionable steps on how moms can better take care of their mental health while caring for their children’s overall well-being.

There’s also an episode that features an honest conversation between a mom and her child. They take time to face issues commonly avoided, from how the child feels when she upsets her mom to lessons they learned from each other, as well as building honest and open communication.

Lastly, a popular couple shares their story in raising a child with special needs and how vital teamwork is.

As part of the campaign, Mommy Welfare kits were distributed in partnership with other brands and Absolute products to the mothers at the Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital. Known as the National Maternity Hospital, it also champions Kangaroo Mother Care or KMC—a method that involves placing a newborn, pre-mature baby on the mother's chest, skin-to-skin, with minimal clothing for direct contact. This physical closeness replicates the warmth and security of the womb, which results in enhancement of breastfeeding.
