Chavit Singson to give away a total of P7 million on his birthday
In case you missed it: Chavit Singson is giving away a total of P7 million via an online raffle as a way to mark his birthday this month.
The entrepreneur and former governor of Ilocos Sur announced his birthday giveaway in a video posted on his official Facebook page, where he shared proof that he has deposited the money for the upcoming raffle.
Around 600 individuals could take home P10,000 each, while one person will win P1 million.
"This year, magpaparaffle ako ng P7 million. Ipapakita ko sa screen, naka-live: P6 million na tig-P10,000, plus 'yung isang P1 million, so P7 million lahat," he said.
If you're interested in joining the raffle, you would need to download and sign up for an account on the app e-Gracia, which works as a digital wallet where users can send money, pay bills, reload mobile phone credits, and top-up virtual wallets.
Another requirement is a selfie of you wearing your best sunglasses a la Singson.
The raffle will be done live and will be streamed online on Singson's birthday on June 21.
The prizes will be sent via the E-Gracia app. "Doon namin papadala 'yung premyo para hindi pumunta sa ibang tao," he explained, adding that winners can claim the money from the app at any bank near them.
