More than tita's favorite spot: Wildflour's Retro Night is back for you to dance the night away

While you may think that question is reserved for the fancy titos and titas who brunch, it just might be what the Gen-Z crowd is saying during their night out.
Wildflour Cafe + Bakery's Retro Nights is a weekend after-hours event that aims to bring back the music of yesteryears for the young and young at heart.
Held every Friday and Saturday night at Wildflour BGC, the event sees guests hit the dance floor and enjoy themselves under the light of the spinning disco ball—not to mention while enjoying the Wildflour menu of cocktails and hearty meals. Cafe food in the club? You better believe it.
Though Retro Nights started back in 2018, TikTok has been breathing new life into the hotspot through spliced videos of guests having fun, meeting new people, and dancing the night away.
With the event gaining traction with each new video, the Gen-Z crowd has since been sharing POV videos of their Wildflour experiences.
The viral videos have gained as many as 100,000 views, viral hashtags, and a whole lot of curious netizens.

With the feel of nostalgia is what brings new guests in, Wildflour has shared that "titas" were actually key in making people discover the grounds.
Since Wildflour Rockwell is near the nightlife hotspot that is Poblacion, it was the older crowd that first discovered the scene—until it trickled down to their kids and younger relatives.
"[Retro Nights] was born out regular customers going to Poblacion when they had no place to gimmick, supposedly titas' night," the cafe shared with PhilSTAR L!fe. "Over time, titas and titos started bringing their kids to Retro Night, allowing it to become a family affair as well.
"Eventually the crowd evolved to what it is now today."

Retro Night has since helped reframe the cafe as a nightlife destination in the Metro while staying true to its hearty roots. With Rockwell serving as its flagship event grounds, the event has moved to its Bonifacio Global City branch amid the pandemic.
