The Promised Neverland live-action film releases new trailer
Last year, news broke that The Promised Neverland would have a live-action film and, ever since, fans worldwide have erupted in excitement.
Now, the fervor has gone up another notch after the release of an even longer trailer hinting about terrifying secrets behind the innocent-looking Grace Field House.
Twitter user @yakunebastaff shared the latest trailer for The Promised Neverland and gives a sneak peek at the terrifying tale of orphans Emma, Norman, and Ray.
The 90-second trailer reveals the haunting tale of a mysterious orphanage where children living inside discover that there is a terrible secret lurking within the walls of their so-called "home sweet home." When children reach a certain age, they leave and become "adopted" by a loving family.
Turns out that the story is a lie. Hideous flesh-eating monsters are raising these "cattle children" in the orphanage to be harvested later as food. The eldest and most intelligent of the kids – students Emma, Ray, and Norman – must now work together to find a means of escape before their "mama" finds out.
The Promised Neverland stars Minami Hanabe as Emma, Kairi Jo as Ray, Rihiko Itagaki as Norman, Keiko Kitagawa as Mama Isabella, and Naomi Watanabe as Krone.
The live-action film is directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa while Noriko Gotou wrote the script.
