It looks like Samsung might be replacing Bixby with a new virtual assistant, and the internet is already going crazy over her. Design firm Lightfarm Studios posted renders of Sam, a 3D anime mascot the company created alongside the brand’s marketing company.

The internet reacted with excitement over Sam as her images went viral on different social media apps like Twitter and TikTok. Users were quick to grab screenshots of the now-deleted post from Lightfarm and reshared them online. It’s no surprise as she looks like a character out of an anime with striking blue eyes and sleek black hair. She’s the first virtual assistant to come with a whole body instead of just a voice.

Users online were quick to fawn over Sam, calling her a “waifu” and creating numerous fan art (including NSFW ones) before she’s even made official by Samsung. In anticipation of her debut, fans are also saying they are willing to ditch their current smartphones to meet Sam.

Since the virtual assistant isn’t confirmed yet, there are few details as to how Sam will work. However, she might take after Bixby when it comes to capabilities and features. Sam will probably be able to open messages, save reminders, and do other voice assistant tasks like Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa, and Google Assistant.
