Nick Jonas ran off the stage during the Jonas Brothers' concert in Prague after a laser pointer was aimed at him, raising safety concerns.

PEOPLE Magazine reported that the Jonas Brothers—Nick, Joe, and Kevin—were performing at the O2 Arena when an audience member used an unauthorized laser pointer at him.

In a viral video, the American singer can be seen running as he made a time-out gesture with his hands.

The show was then stopped for a few minutes.

A spokesperson for O2 confirmed the incident.

“We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers' performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person,” the spokesperson told Entertainment Weekly. “The organizing service responded to this fact immediately. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance and went back on the stage."

The Jonas Brothers are holding a world tour and are completing shows in Europe. Their next stop is in Krakow in Poland on Oct. 16 (Oct. 17 Manila time).

The laser-pointing incident comes on the heels of reports concerning audience behavior during concerts.

Last August, a 19-year-old Islamic State sympathizer planned a deadly suicide attack during American pop star Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna. The suspect admitted to "carrying out an attack using explosives and knives."

Last September, American rock band Green Day was rushed off stage in Detroit after an attendee flew an unauthorized drone over the venue, Entertainment Weekly reported.
