BTS’ Jungkook just changed his Instagram username—and ARMYs are freaking out on social media

We’ve reached the end of Jungkook’s “alphabet era,” ARMYs.

Screenshots of BTS’ Jungkook’s Instagram account have been a trending topic on social media after he changed his username from @abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz to @jungkook.97. The topic “Jungkook” is currently trending on Twitter with over 772,000 tweets, as of this writing.

Since opening his personal Instagram account in December 2021, Jungkook has always been the trending topic among K-pop fans due to his unique username. 

As we freak out over Jungkook’s new Instagram username, here are some of the funniest reactions we’ve spotted on social media. 

Twitter user @dojaher said they have “nothing to smile about in my life” after Jungkook changed his Instagram username.

@_RapperJK joked about ARMYs being “dramatic.”

Meanwhile, @hrIykoo said Jungkook will always be “my alphabet boy.”

On the other hand, @vkoofroggies speculated that Jungkook changing his Instagram username means he will “release his mixtape soon.”

Twitter user @lifegoesjoon said Jungkook’s original Instagram username was “so creative.”
