Levi Masuli is the Philippine STAR’s pick for the 2024 Purita Kalaw-Ledesma Prize in Art Criticism for the following essay. He has a BA in language and literature (University of the Philippines Baguio) and has exhibited here and abroad as a visual/installation artist, working primarily with sound and text.
