About the author
Jelou Galang
Jelou Galang is a freelance journalist who loves dissecting culture, media consumption, the internet, and how these form our identity and community-building. She is an Organizational Communication graduate from the University of the Philippines and a former associate editor and engagement lead of a Manila-based youth culture publication. She’s a fan of Asian cinema, punk rock, matcha, The Sims, her dog Maximize, and what people vomit all over their Notes app at 2 a.m. Her love-hate relationship with writing began when she was four years old.
