2PM member Ok Taecyeon marries longtime partner in private ceremony
Love just leveled up for 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon as he has now tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in a private ceremony.
In a report by The Korea Times, the South Korean rapper and actor got married to his non-showbiz partner of 10 years at the Shilla Hotel in central Seoul.
The couple decided to make their special day intimate, inviting only their family and close friends to witness them exchanging vows.
The news outlet detailed that all of Taecyeon's fellow members of 2PM—Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Junho, and Chansung—were in attendance and marked the occasion with a congratulatory song. Chansung also served as the master of ceremonies.
Taecyeon first announced his relationship with his non-showbiz partner in 2020. His agency 51K first revealed that the singer would be getting married to his girlfriend in Spring in November last year. Following this, the music artist penned a letter to his fans highlighting how he had "promised to spend the rest of my life with one person who has understood and trusted me for a long time."
"We plan to walk the path of life together while becoming pillars of support for one another in the future," he said.
During his acceptance speech at the 2025 KBS Drama Awards last December, the Vincenzo star gave a heartfelt shout-out to his fiancée while taking home the Excellence Award (Miniseries) for his role in Took the Man’s First Night.
“This is my first acting award, so I didn’t expect it. I’m very surprised and nervous. This project was a precious opportunity to discover a new side of my acting and reflect on myself. I will strive to become a more dedicated and improved actor,” he said, thanking his family, fans, and his 2PM co-members.
“Lastly, I want to sincerely thank my fiancée. I love you, Jihye!” he continued.
