The Metro Manila Development Authority and Galaxy Manila Marathon organizers have finalized the traffic rerouting scheme for the upcoming run on June 12 to 13.

In a June 2 meeting, MMDA and Runrio Inc. discussed the necessary measures to ensure runner safety along the SM Mall of Asia to SM City North EDSA route.

According to MMDA, participants in the 42km race will use EDSA as the main race route. From SM MOA to Buendia MRT station, runners will use the bus lane, while from Buendia MRT station to Quezon City Academy U-turn slot, the two lanes adjacent to the bus lane will be used.

The outermost lane or the lane adjacent to the sidewalk will serve as a temporary EDSA Bus Carousel lane from SM MOA to Buendia MRT station. No adjustment will be made from Buendia MRT Station to Caloocan.
