Philippine Airlines has announced a series of schedule adjustments due to evolving challenges in the global aviation sector,

"We understand that this may affect travel plans and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. PAL is working to minimize disruption and will continue to review these routes as conditions improve," they wrote on Thursday, March 26.

The following international routes will be suspended:

  • Cebu - Guam (PR120/PR121)
From April 16 until further notice
  • Cebu - Ho Chi Minh City (PR587/PR588)
From April 19 until further notice (Except May 1, 3, 24 and 31)

The following domestic routes will be suspended:

  • Clark - Siargao (PR2875/PR2876)
From May 4 until further notice
  • Cebu - Ozamiz (PR2893/PR2894)
From May 5 until further notice
  • Cebu - Calbayog (PR2668/PR2669)
From May 6 until further notice

PAL said that cargo operations on these routes are also affected, but they are "working with logistics partners to explore alternative routing options to support the continued movement of goods."

Those affected may opt to rebook their flights by either moving to alternative routing, in the same cabin class with available space within 60 days, without penalties.

They could also convert their tickets into travel credits for future use, or get a full refund in accordance with applicable policies.

It said that their customer service teams are available to assist through their website, contact center, and ticket offices.

Earlier this week, Cebu Pacific also made temporary network adjustments, including frequency reductions and flight cancellations. They said that these changes were "driven by the impact of the crisis on global fuel prices, which have more than doubled compared with 2025 averages."
