'Undertale: the Detemination Symphony' concert is coming to Manila in October
Calling all Undertale fans: The beloved indie game's soundtrack is taking center stage in Manila this October!
Film Concerts PH, in partnership with SOHO Live, has announced the game's first-ever international concert, UNDERTALE: The Determination Symphony, which will be staged at the Proscenium Theater in Makati City on Oct. 17 as part of the game's 10th anniversary celebration.
The concert experience features the 25-piece Filharmonika Orchestra under the baton of Thanapol Setabrahmana, performing orchestral arrangements of fan-favorite tracks while gameplay footage is projected on a big screen.
The production was developed by Lambert Jackson with Materia Music and features new arrangements by Adam Hoskins, personally curated by Undertale creator and composer Toby Fox.
Released in 2015, Undertale became one of the most celebrated indie games of its generation for its heartfelt story, quirky humor, memorable characters, and player-driven choices. The game has since sold millions of copies across multiple platforms.
"Undertale is a game with a lot of music. It's good when skilled professionals play the music, and people listen to it." Fox shared about the event.
For a festive atmosphere, fans are encouraged to come in their best Undertale cosplay as they relive favorite moments together.
