Trunc has ceased its operations.

The online shopping destination announced the news in a Facebook post on Sunday, March 1, writing, "Trunc closes doors starting today, March 1, 2026. Thank you for your continued trust, loyalty, and support as we take on this important step towards enhancing your online shopping experience."

Trunc said that customers may visit rustans.com to continue shopping. As a welcome, they may use the code RustansXTrunc to enjoy an exclusive discount on their first purchase.

Trunc was launched in Nov. 6, 2020, bringing Stores Specialist Inc. brands closer to more Filipinos. The platform features four specialized destinations, including Trunc for everyday lifestyle, Trunc Show for high-end luxury, PowderRoom for prestige beauty, and Trunc at Home for curated living and dining.

The news comes just days after SSI announced the ceasing of operations of Marks & Spencer in the Philippines on May 2.

"This has not been an easy decision. Building Marks & Spencer in the Philippines has been a meaningful and rewarding chapter for our organization. We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and partners who have supported the brand through the decades," the SSI management said in a statement.

However, a spokesperson from the British brand's headquarters clarified it would be staying in the country, just with a different franchise partner.
