First Godzilla Film Festival in PH to happen this October

A Godzilla Film Festival is headed to the Philippines!

Running from Oct. 14 to 20 exclusively at SM Cinema locations nationwide, this event brings five entries from the Godzilla franchise to the big screen for the very first time in Philippine cinemas, all for just P275 per movie.

The lineup includes Shin Godzilla, the critically acclaimed blockbuster that won seven Japan Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It follows a ragtag task force of bureaucrats and scientists racing against time to stop an unprecedented, rapidly mutating force of nature that emerges in Tokyo Bay to completely reinvent the iconic titan.

For fans looking for battle royales, in Godzilla Final Wars, Godzilla goes head-to-head with a relentless sequence of classic rival monsters in one action-packed night.

The lineup continues with two more entries: Godzilla 2000: Millennium launches a bold era as Godzilla faces off against Orga, a mutating alien entity determined to steal his unique genetic material and absorb his powers. Meanwhile, Godzilla vs. Biollante explores the perils of human ambition when scientists accidentally cross plant DNA, human cells, and Godzilla's genetic material. The result is Biollante—one of the most terrifying and massive foes in history—forcing the King of the Monsters to step up as Earth's unlikely protector.

Rounding out the festival is the timeless classic Godzilla vs. Mothra, highlighting the showdown between Earth's divine guardian butterfly and the atomic titan.
