Emman Atienza dies at 19

Emman Atienza, the daughter of Felicia and Kim Atienza, has died. She was 19.

Her family announced her death in a joint statement shared on Instagram on Friday, Oct. 24.

"It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman," it read.

The cause of her death was not specified.

The Atienza family described Emman as someone who "had a way of making people feel seen and heard" and "wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health." They added that her authenticity "helped so many feel less alone."

"She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her," they continued. 

"To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life," her family said.

Emman was a Sparkle talent who produced lifestyle content on social media. She garnered almost 200,000 followers on Instagram and over 800,000 followers on TikTok.

She was also a mental health advocate.

Emman was survived by her parents and her two siblings Jose III and Eliana.
