BIGBANG to release new song after four years ahead of global tour

Heads up, VIPs! BIGBANG is coming back with a brand new song after four years!

As reported by K-pop outlet Soompi, industry sources confirmed on July 7 that production is already underway for the South Korean boy band's new song which they are to perform as a full group.

The sources added that the three remaining members, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung are already scheduled for the filming of the song's music video and other promotional content in the third week of July.

The new track is expected to be out ahead of the group's upcoming global tour "BIGBANG 2026 WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG," which will take place on Aug. 21 to 23 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea.

The tour commemorates the group's 20th anniversary and features 32 shows covering 18 cities across North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, with additional stops expected to be announced soon.

BIGBANG originally debuted as a five-member group in August 2006. Initially composed of members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, the boy group’s most popular songs include Fantastic Baby, BANG BANG BANG, and Loser. 

Seungri announced his departure from the group and retirement from the entertainment industry in March 2019. In 2022, T.O.P parted ways with YG Entertainment after 16 years.
