Diddy's prison release date moved up anew

Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to be released from prison earlier than expected.

According to information from the Federal Bureau of Prisons obtained by E! News, the prison release date for the American rapper has been moved from Feb. 23, 2028 to Jan. 24, 2028.

The news came after the 56-year-old was transferred to solitary confinement at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey following his involvement in an altercation with a fellow inmate, according to multiple outlets.

This marks the fifth time Combs’ prison release date has changed. He was originally scheduled for release on May 28, 2028, before it was pushed back to June 4, 2028. The date was later moved up to April 25, 2028, then again to April 15, 2028, before being moved even earlier to February 2028 and, most recently, January 2028.

Combs is convicted of two counts of prostitution and is serving over four years of imprisonment. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Prosecutors alleged Combs forced two former girlfriends to participate in drug-fueled sexual performances with male sex workers for days. His defense team, meanwhile, argued that the women were willing participants.

Combs began his music career in 1992. He's behind the hits Can't Nobody Hold Me Down and Big Poppa, among others.
