Manny Pacquiao will soon be immortalized in the U.S. National Boxing Hall of Fame.

During the 3rd Pacquiao-Elorde Awards Night at Okada Manila on Friday night, May 1, Boxing executive Eric Schmidt announced that Pacquiao will be inducted for his contribution to American boxing history.

"I am announcing that next year, April 2027, Pacquiao will join Gabriel 'Flash' Elorde in the National Boxing Hall of Fame," Schmidt said.

"The National Boxing Hall of Fame recognizes boxers from anywhere in the world if they have significance to the United States of America. And they wanted Manny Pacquiao to be there for a few years [now]. So I said, this year, I'm gonna be there, I'm gonna let him know." he added.

Schmidt also said the ceremony will be held in Los Angeles, California.

In June last year, Pacquiao was officially inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame Class of 2025 in New York.

According to Guinness Book of World Records, he has the most boxing world titles for having eight championship titles in different divisions.

Pacquiao held titles in the Flyweight, Super Featherweight, Lightweight, and Super Welterweight divisions, earning championships from the WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring.
