CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B to begin collecting tolls this May 5
Motorists, here's some news for you.
Following the toll-free period that began on March 30, the Toll Regulatory Board has announced that Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) - C5 Link Segment 3B will officially begin collecting fees on May 5.
The new segment bridges the gap between CAVITEX and the C5 Road in Taguig City
For those using the link to navigate between Taguig and the Sucat Road (Dr. A. Santos Ave in Parañaque):
- Class 1 - P59
- Class 2 - P117
- Class 3 - P176
For motorists traveling the from Taguig to Roxas Boulevard or Zapote, the following toll rates will apply:
- Class 1 - P97
- Class 2 - P194
- Class 3 - P291
CAVITEX said that this link has reduced travel time from the 1.5 hours to 15 minutes.
"The expressway also strengthens the logistics link between the Cavite industrial hubs and the commercial centers in the National Capital Region, supporting regional economic growth. It further serves as an alternative route, especially for heavy vehicles, helping ease congestion on major arterial roads across Cavite and the southern portion of Metro Manila," it wrote.
