Philippine Airlines launches direct flights to India

India, here we go!

Get ready to indulge in world-class Indian cuisine, hunt for vibrant handblock fabrics and intricate jewelry, and finally cross the iconic Taj Mahal off your bucket list. Exploring India up close is getting so much easier now that Philippine Airlines is launching direct flights straight from Manila to both Delhi and Mumbai starting this December.

Travelers will be flying in aboard their Airbus A321neo, featuring 12 lie-flat Business Class seats and 156 Economy seats, plus full-service inflight meals and entertainment.

If you're heading to Delhi, PR 642 takes off every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:40 p.m. and lands at 3 a.m. the next day. The return trip on PR 643 runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, leaving Delhi at 8:15 a.m. and getting you back to Manila by 5 p.m.

Planning a trip to Mumbai instead? PR 646 departs Manila every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:40 p.m., landing at 3:05 a.m. the following morning. On the way back, PR 647 operates every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing Mumbai at 7:15 a.m. and arriving at 5 p.m.

“Opening services to Delhi and Mumbai strengthens PAL’s network in one of Asia’s most dynamic economies,” said PAL President Richard Nuttall. “These routes will create new opportunities for Filipinos to explore India while supporting the growing movement of travelers, businesses and goods between our two countries.”
