AC Bonifacio has landed a role in Netflix's upcoming K-pop thriller movie Perfect Girl alongside KPop Demon Hunters stars Arden Cho and May Hong.

The actress and dancer announced the news in her Instagram stories as she reposted an article from Deadline.

There are no details yet about Bonifacio's role in the upcoming film.

Other stars completing the cast include Momoland member Nancy, singer Jeon Somi, Thai singer and actress Ally, Adeline Rudolph, John Kim, Peter Lee Jae Yoon, Samantha Cochran, Siyoon, and Chaerin.

Perfect Girl will be directed by Hong Won-ki, who previously helmed other horror projects such as Gory: A Horror Tale, Urban Myths, and Goedam. It will be produced by Badlands, John Wick outfit Thunder Road, Cho, and Desert Bloom.

Producer Scott Strauss noted how Won-ki has "put together a dream international cast to bring to life his uniquely fun vision for a horror movie set against the backdrop of K-pop."

The film is described as "Scream meets Black Swan" and focuses its narrative on a new K-pop super group preparing for their debut.

"With only four spots available in the band and the final cut a week away, the competition is off the charts. When a talented and mysterious new girl is introduced at the last minute, things start to get strange—girls are being hunted and attacked one by one, but who is responsible for the carnage, and more importantly…who will make the final cut?" the film's premise read.

Production has begun filming in Thailand and will feature six original songs, including a new track from The Black Label’s Jeon Somi.

A release date for the film has yet to be finalized.

Cho and Hong voiced Rumi and Mara, respectively, in Kpop Demon Hunters.
