Hikiniku To Come to open in SM Megamall this September

The trending Japanese hamburg sensation Hikiniku to Come is finally making its way to SM Megamall!

If you’ve been drooling over the Japanese hamburg on-the-rice videos but haven’t had the time to brave the BGC traffic for it, we have some great news for you Central and East foodies: those juicy, charcoal-grilled patties are coming right to your neighborhood.

SM Megamall announced that Hikiniku To Come will be opening this September at the Level 3 of the Mega Fashion Hall.

"From premium cuts to perfectly grilled flavors, every bite is an experience," they wrote.

Founded in Tokyo in 2020, Hikiniku To Come is built on a simple belief: food tastes best the exact moment it's made. This philosophy comes alive through their "3-Fresh Principle"—Freshly Ground, Freshly Grilled, and Freshly Cooked rice.

They keep things simple with just one item on the menu: the Hikiniku To Come Set (P850). It’s a full feast featuring three juicy patties, miso soup, a raw egg, freshly-grated daikon with ponzu, unlimited rice, and six house-made condiments to customize every bite.

The restaurant finally landed in the Philippines in October 2025, opening its doors at Uptown Mall in BGC.
